With the summer drawing to a close, youth athletes in Hampton Roads can still participate in a number of basketball camps in the area.
Norfolk State men’s basketball head coach Robert Jones will host the second session of the Spartans’ Green & Gold youth camp beginning August 1. The first camp, which ran in January, former NSU player Kyle O’Quinn, now in his second season with the New York Knicks. For more information, visit www.nsuspartans.com
Christopher Newport men’s coach John Krikorian will also hold his annual shooting camp this week. Registration begins tomorrow with the three-day camp concluding on Thursday.
