Bishop Sullivan lands an Under Armour “Undeniable” deal that outfits athletic teams at a premier level
The Undeniable program started in 2006 for Under Armour. The athletic wear company’s program recognizes the top high school athletic programs in the nation with the program.
A 2011 promotion to add schools to program touted a $140,000 package of custom uniforms and other gear. Needless to say, the new Under Armour deal will update the Crusaders’ look.
A press release from the desk of Bishop Sullivan Catholic Athletic Director Rich Hine laid out the details, including a prepared announcement from Coach Scott:
““Under Armour is the industry leader in innovative, exciting, high performance athletic gear and we are thrilled to have UA as our partner at Bishop Sullivan. The Undeniable designation is a testament to our school, coaching staff, players and the quality of the football team we plan to put on the field each week. We appreciate Under Armour’s confidence in, and commitment to, our football program.”
Chris Scott coached in several Under Armour All-American Football games during his tenure with Ocean Lakes.
The deal will officially and exclusively provide on-field and training gear for the athletic department at Bishop Sullivan.
Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, North Carolina is a also an “Undeniable” program. When Mallard Creek joined in 2014, the news surrounding the announcement detailed that “Under Armour exclusive rights to provide game and training gear to the athletic teams while also outfitting coaches and members of the athletic department staff. The agreement also includes marketing and promotional incentives along with access to unique Undeniable partner-only designs.”
There are roughly 40 high schools in the Undeniable program. According to Mr. Hine, Bishop Sullivan was given several options for football team uniforms when they hit the field this fall. While the Crusaders had options from “Oregon Duck” neons to “Notre Dame” traditional, the choice was made to select something in the middle of the two extremes.
You can expect a new look on the field from Bishop Sullivan this fall, and you’ll see the new look extend to all Crusader athletic teams.
